Erin Swank grew up at Eden, and was an active member in the youth program and various ministry opportunities. It was during her time in Eden's youth program that she felt a call to serve God in youth ministry. Because of that decision, she left Edwardsville for Greenville College, where she graduated in 1997 with degrees in Youth Ministry and Sociology. Erin later returned to Greenville to enter the LAMP Program (Leadership and Ministry Program), where she completed her master's degree in 2006. After graduating from Greenville with her undergraduate degree, she served at First Baptist Church in Edwardsvlle for 8 years, serving as their youth minister. Erin returned to Eden to be married to Adam Swank in 1997. After leaving the Baptist church she took a year sabbatical, then joined the staff at Eden in August 2004 as the Director of Discipleship. Erin and Adam have since made their home together in Edwardsville. They have an adopted daughter, Corinne (23), and a son, Micah, born in 2007.
