A Family Rooted in Christ, Growing in Grace, and Living in Love Music is an imporant part of our worship experience at Eden. We draw upon the rich traditions of our past and move forward with new expressions of faith through song. Eden is blessed with a wealth of musically talented members who freely offer their gifts to our congregation. Under their leadership, the whole congregation offers our praises to God, who is the source of all music.
Eden's children also raise their voices in song. Our Cherub Choir is for children in Kindergarten through 2th grade, and SonShine Choir is for 3rd grade through Middle School. Special music is also provided our by our Brass Ensemble, Beginning Bells, and Chancel Bells. We are always looking for more people to run the sound system at various church functions. This is a great way to be involved if you enjoy working with electronics and being "behind the scenes." Some experience is helpful but not necessary. We are happy to train new sound people. Music Ministries Rehearsal Schedule: SonShine Choir Visual Art Ministry at Eden Throughout the year we have various exhibitions of Visual Art at our church, ranging from student works to ArtEast, a community-wide art event every October. or 692-9744). Drama is an area that we are going to begin exploring at Eden. If you have a love of acting, directing, writing, or technical work and would like to participate in or help coordinate this ministry, please contact Emily Ottwein. A Concert Series at Eden is also on our wish list. We think it would be just one more way to get people to come to our wonderful church. However, to do this we need a team of volunteers to get it off the ground. Contact Emily Ottwein if you are interested. |

Eden's music ministry offers opportunities for everyone to participate - whatever their talent, age, or musical interest. For a joyous celebration of contemporary Christian music, join our Praise Choir, an adult contemporary/gospel choir which usually sings at the 9:15am and 10:30am Contemporary services, or perhaps playing an instrument in the Praise Band would be more your style. Enjoy more traditional choral music? Our Chancel Choir, which is the adult traditional choir that usually sings for the 8:00am Traditional servicemay, may be perfect for you.
