OASIS Women's Center provides emergency shelter and services for battered women and their children. Along with a safe place to stay, the goals of OASIS are to make women aware that they have alternatives when faced with a violent situation and to coordinate services with pre-existing community resources. The need for shelter cuts across all economic levels, education backgrounds, ethnic and racial lines. OASIS offers a non-judgmental atmosphere in which a woman can plan her future.
