For the past 2,000 years of the church's existence, the evolution of technology has always played a vital role in shaping its worship traditions.  The recent technological advancements of our digital age are nothing new.  In order for the local church to fulfill the Great Commission (disciple and evangelize), it is imperative that it speaks the language of the local culture.  As technology and communication continues to advance in the 21st century, Eden church strives to keep up without compromising the gospel.

Our contemporary worship services require a Worship Technology crew of about 2-3 persons per Sunday morning who are responsible for video and audio control.  These two aspects are extremely important because technology can either be a hinderance or huge benefit to worship.  The latter is what we aim for at Eden church.  If you have a passion for technology and would like to share your gifts in this ministry, please contact Jake Gosselin at jgosselin(at)eden-ucc.org.
