The Eden Outreach Committee strives to be active in meeting the social and human needs that arise in our congregation and our community with the following activities.
- Weekly collection for the Glen-Ed Pantry.
- Recognizing Earth Day with the Sunday school children and teachers by distributing living plants.
- Collecting new children's clothing on our "Mitten Tree", which is distributed to the needy children of our school District 7.
- Collaborating with staff at The Eden Village Care Center to collect and distribute Christmas gifts for the residents through "The Angel Tree".
- Purchase and deliver Christmas gifts for several families at the Oasis Women's Center.
- Sponsor bingo parties several times a year for two nursing homes and one for the residents of Eden's Assisted Living and Senior Living apartments.
