Uni-Press Kindercottage, a joint mission of the United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church USA, is a child development center that serves as a beacon of light and hope to families in East St. Louis. Kindercottage provides an environment in which all ages have opportunities for growth and enrichment through educational and social programs. This organization provides a positive influence on families in the East St. Louis School District, where achievement test scores are far below state averages.
